Yeah, you're motoring along in one mode when ... wham, another bit of your life comes along and whacks you in the face.

Or something.

Anyway, as I was saying in another place - in a different kitchen with different music - it's actually quite cool when Jeffrey Lewis starts rhapsodising about Pussy Riot and bitching about sell-out indie rock bands.

Now pass me a Coke while I lace up my Nikes ...
