The miserable existence of a DJ. Yeah, I can identify with that. There you are, dutifully doling out your wonderful music, and what do the punters do? Ignore it. Ignore you. You're a nobody. A functionary. There to do your cueing, to click a few buttons, and ... nothing. Playing tunes that no-one listens to and no-one cares about. It's soul destroying, man. But what can you do? DJing is a compulsion, almost a disease. It'd all be different if I came from Tokyo ...
