Welcome, welcome, welcome ...This is my 183rd monthly podcast (though the first 100 or so weren't strictly podcasts more, er, compilations I did on CDR and then forced into the hands of a few people who'd been rash enough to express the slightest interest in the music I was listening to at the time). Anyway ... what does number 183 have in store for you? I couldn't possibly say really. There's some grindcore-y stuff, some ambient-DnB stuff, some clatter-y punk stuff, a Welsh language folk-ballad, and ... quite a few other things I'd struggle to describe even this vaguely. Taken as a whole, though, I like to think it's the ultimate mix tape. The latest and best, but also the ur-comp. Yes, it might well be the musicological connection between past, present and future, between sheer terror and ultimate bliss. The missing link ...
