Mostly different views of India, Podcast #224 (Mar 2024)

I started these exciting/boring [delete as appropriate] podcasts way back in 2005 thinking, "oh, I'll see if I can do a monthly compilation thing on CD-R, do copies for few friends (or foist them on them, more like), and er, sort osee how that works out". Well, 19 years later, how did that wortk out? Er, dunno. Maybe it was a 19-year-long failure? An extended exercise in musical self-indulgence? Yeah, could be. I don't deny it. But then again, other people's idea of "failure" is often my idea of success. Or success on my own terms. Years ago, Margaret Thatcher is supposed to have said (though probably didn't) that anyone above the age o30 still using buses was a failure. Er, yeah, that would be me then. But buses are great, far more interesting than driving around in a cocoon (a car), and likewise so-called "failure" is very often exactly the opposite. Which brings me to podcast #228 - Mostly different views of India. Check it out. But be warned - if you like this one you'll have to commit to listening to the next 228. Which are ... coming soon.
